In the spring of 2021, EastBridge Foundation launched a pilot scholarship program for AAPI students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare at a publicly funded college or university. The EastBridge Foundation Scholarship Program provides support to students of Asian and Pacific Islander descent and an immigrant or child of an immigrant or Pacific Islander with a demonstrated financial need. There is a special focus on students who are first generation in their family to attend college. We are happy to announce the winners of the scholarship award for academic year 2021-2022 are Ngan Phan and Jessica Zheng. Both Ngan and Jessica plan to attend Hunter College in the fall; Ngan is interested in nursing and Jessica is interested in a career in mental health. We want to congratulate these outstanding students on their academic achievements and wish them much success in college.
